5 reasons hiring a wedding planner should be a must!

Being wedding planners, I feel as if we spend a lot of time doing extensive research on the in‘ s and out’s of weddings. The must have’s and the absolutely not’s.... how to budget, where to begin and most importantly how to tie it all into an incredible, stress free event.
This post is here to answer the question every bride has... but do I really NEED a wedding planner?
When you get engaged you have a general idea of what you’ll need to do. Hire a photographer, a caterer, get a DJ, find a lovely venue and taste lots of yummy cake. But most of the time people don’t think to hire someone to help them keep all those details in order until they are completely overwhelmed and the planning went from fun to chaos overnight.
So let’s get down to it...
We have connections. When we first got into this business we hustled incredibly hard to build relationships with MANY vendors in the area. Before booking our first bride we spent hours and hours meeting with local vendors getting to know who they are, what they offer and at what cost. So we are able to provide assistance in finding a vendor who fits your style, budget and will without a doubt, provide excellent service to you.
Planning a wedding takes an incredible amount of time. On average a couple spends between 10-15 hours per week planning their wedding. While some people might have that sort of time, In reality, most of us do not. And those of us who do not are the ones who tend to become completely overwhelmed nearing the last few months of planning because there never seems to be enough time in the day to get done everything that needs to be done.
Doing it yourself would require you to take the time out of your already hectic life to call vendors, set appointments, get prices, piece it all together, creating a timeline, making sure everyone is where they need to be and when, setup and cleanup, oversee deliveries on the and ensure everything is getting where it needs to go all the while trying to enjoy yourself (and not rip your hair out).
We keep you on budget. It’s so easy to have a budget in mind in the beginning of this process... give it a few months and you feel as though staying below your $14,000.00 budget is completely out of reach. Our goal is to take that budget and your vision and make it a reality. We know what you need, what’s not necessarily top priority, and like I said before, we have connections. We are here to do the heavy lifting... to keep you on track, stay organized and most importantly, stay realistic. It’s so easy to say “I’ll just get ONE more thing” which could end up being a regular occurance leaving you far over budget.
Peace of mind. A lot of people choose not to hire a planner and spend their big day (and the months before it) completely and utterly stressed. Are my vendors all here? Will the groom make it on time? Will My guests know what to do and where to go? Who will help set up? Who do I owe money to?
The list could go on and on. Who really wants to spend their day focusing on who’s handling the tipping and what time the cake is coming when their main focus should be the one reason you’re planning this incredible event.... YOU AND THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE. Becoming one. There should be no other focus but enjoy the love, the happiness and the company.
As your wedding planner our goal is ensure you do get to spend that day in peace as well as everyone involved. We will make sure your mothers, bridesmaids and all the guests enjoy their time with you rather than running around trying to make sure your vision is coming to life.
We are prepared to deal with crisis. We deal with each and every crisis for you. No matter how small or large, we will handle it as if it were our own problem, and come to a solution without stressing out a single person involved in you wedding.

We aim to please... and we want nothing more than to see a couple so completely in love get to enjoy those moments and share that day with all their loved ones without sweating the small stuff.
